The most gorgeous boy! The sort everyone wants, a real allrounder with a can do attitude.
Stan has done everything since being here. He’s been on farm rides and fun rides , jumping clinics and arena hires , he’s been hound exercising and autumn hunted this time , good with hounds and other horses. He is generally well mannered and enjoyed himself the times he’s been out.
He’s been on camp with his previous owner as-well , he’s been and jumped round the local clear round , he loves a job to do.
His flat work is good, he has basics changes and works in a nice shape, he still has areas to work on so please don’t expect a dressage diva, but at the same time it’s all there , he has a forward willing attitude that makes him easy to teach.
Brave and scopey over a fence , he’s bold and confident over any combination or filler , happily jumping consistently round 1m.
Stan loves XC and is super bold and confident, he goes through water up and down banks over ditches etc.
Amazing to hack alone or in Company he’s seen plenty of traffic , he’s done lots of cantering through the forest etc and never hot or silly , a real lovely reliable pet you can enjoy.
He’s a lovely lad he doesn’t bite or kick and does try and be mannerly. Occasionally the Welsh comes out and he can be a bit all over you and rude , not an issue if your a horsey person , just perhaps wouldn’t suit a frail old lady.
Stan is dearly loved , he come to me to be produced on and sold , but before this has been in the same home since a yearling , so a forever home is what we are in search of that will keep in touch with lots of updates.
I think he’d suit a smaller yard with routine , although he’s happy here on our 40+ horse yard I feel he’d settle better with less going on , he occasionally will weave, for example if he’s left in and his mates are turned out before him , not a huge issue just a vice that needs to be stated.
He’s ridden by the kids here never naughty , turns out with other horses travels in a lorry or a trailer.
I’ve not clipped him but his old owner Jess has fully clipped him and he stood like an angel , loves a groom and a fuss generally an all round nice guy.
