I was introduced to Jasmine whilst looking for a horse for a friend and was instantly impressed with her attitude and knowledge of the horses in her care. I have never bought a horse from a dealer as I have always had the impression that they sell on horses that owners can’t sell! Jasmine obviously is not a dealer. She asks riders about their ability, what the horse will be used for and matches horses to riders. Whilst there looking for my friend I fell in love with a coloured mare called Lottie.Despite riding for over 30 years I lost my confidence after a car injury 4 years ago. I now have limited use of my right leg and have a metal cage in my neck. I already own a traditional cob which has given me my confidence back in the saddle. She however has been very poorly and will have limited use now as a riding horse. I asked Jasmine about Lottie and her history and it was a match made in heaven. A very forward going mare with brains and sensitivity towards the rider. I rode her tentatively and realised very quickly that this mare would look after me despite my slight disability. I collected Lottie yesterday and have taken her in the menage already, something I haven’t done for years! It was a joy to ride her and be on a big horse again.
